We’re pleased to announce that macOS Sequoia is now approved for use at Shenandoah! To upgrade, go to Software Update in System Preferences or System Settings > General.
Note: If you are a student and use any specialized software as part of your program, please check with your instructors before upgrading to see if there are any compatibility issues you may run into.
Some of the new features:
- Presenter preview - select only the content you wish to share when screen sharing! Great for sharing in Zoom or to a TV using AirPlay.
- Use your iPhone from your Mac with iPhone Mirroring
- Passwords app for storing and managing your passwords and one-time use (MFA) codes
- Live audio transcriptions in Notes
As always, it’s good to have a backup of your files before you upgrade. The IT Help Desk portal has more information on backing up your Mac and performing the upgrade:
