Virtual Private Network (VPN) - Request Access

Tags Network VPN

What is it?

A VPN, or Virtual Private Network, allows you to create a secure connection to another network over the Internet. SU's VPN gives eligible faculty and staff the ability to connect to SU's internal network so they can access specific University resources from home or abroad.

In order for SU's information systems to remain secure and compliant with industry standard network and Internet security protocols, VPN access must be requested by users annually using the Request Service button located to the upper right.

Who can use it?

Approved faculty and staff.

Where can I access this service?

To request access or support for the SU VPN, select the Request Access button in the upper right. You must have a business justification and your supervisor will need to authorize your request. Final approval or denial of the request will be made by the CIO of IT.
