What is it?
A Canvas course merge request will combine multiple sections of the same course into one Canvas course to eliminate the need to manage multiple Gradebooks, send multiple announcements, and create the same pages and assignments multiple times in multiple sections.
Who can use it?
Instructors who are teaching multiple sections of the same course, instructors who wish to share course materials across sections (i.e. cross-listing), or instructors who are co-teaching different sections of the same course and wish to combine their sections into one Canvas course.
