Adobe Account Not Activated

If you are seeing messages such as:

  • "Your account is not activated."
  • "You only have a free trial."
  • "You need to pay for a full license."

but you already have an Adobe license, the issue may be that you are signed into the wrong profile. Follow the steps below to ensure you are using the correct Shenandoah University account.

Step 1: Sign Into Your Adobe Account

Go to https://account.adobe.com/.

If prompted, log in using your Shenandoah University email address and Adobe password.

Step 2: Check Your Profile

Once logged in, you will be on the Account page.

Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the page.

This will open a pop-up box asking with profile settings.

Under the Account section, check which profile is currently selected.

Step 3: Switch to the Correct Profile

Your account should be using "Shenandoah University 2."

  • If a different profile is selected, click Switch Profile and choose "Shenandoah University 2" from the list.

Once you have switched profiles, try opening your Adobe applications again. If you continue to experience issues, please contact the Help Desk for further assistance.
