When you graduate from SU, your Google account is transitioned from a Student account to an Alumni account. With this transition comes the following changes:

Following graduation, the amount of storage allocated to your SU Google account will be reduced to 1GB. If your combined storage between Google Drive and Photos exceeds 1GB, you’ll still be able to access your files, but they’ll be set to read-only (unable to be edited) and you will not be able to add additional files.

If you are using Google Photos, and/or would like to delete your Drive files yourself, simply drag and drop everything you wish to delete to Trash in your Drive/Photos. Believe it or not, doing this is actually a big help to us.
Please note that 1GB of storage is very little and may not be enough to accommodate all your files. Even a free personal Google account starts users at 15GB. Therefore, we strongly advise that you download all files you wish to keep from your SU Google Drive and Photos, and if interested, upload them to a personal Google account.

If you’re continuing your education here at SU in the Fall or are delaying your graduation, this will not apply to your account until you graduate or withdraw from the university. If you're an SU employee who is graduating, these changes will not apply to your SU Google account.
